ARTIST STATEMENT ENG
In my artistic practice, I engage in an interdisciplinary and conceptually driven exploration of spirituality, fashion, and the botanical world. Through various creative mediums, including performance, collages, video, photography, painting, sculpture, and installations, my work embodies subtle semiotics and symbolic structures that illuminate societal norms and the intricate connections between humanity, nature, and spirituality. This approach invites a scientifically inspired reflection on these profound themes and serves as a platform for conveying subtle, yet deep, messages that transcend the boundaries between materials and symbols, fostering a richer understanding of our interconnected relationship with the spiritual, the sartorial, and the botanical.

In meiner künstlerischen Praxis vereine ich Ernährung und Kleidung und Spiritualität. Mit Ornamenten, Stoffen und Pflanzensprossen erkunde ich Ursprünge in einer transdisziplinären Perspektive. Mein Schaffen ist eine didaktisch-konzeptuell erarbeitete Einladung zur feinstofflichen Welt – mit einer leichten Brise von Witz und Belohnung für den aufmerksamen Betrachter. Meine künstlerische Herangehensweise ist eine wissenschaftlich inspirierte Reflexion über die fundamentale Interaktion zwischen Mensch und Pflanze, und zwischen Stofflichkeit und Feinstofflichkeit.
